I believe it is intended for a graduate course but I personally feel like it is a book an undergraduate can also grow into. Weintraub describes the theory with interesting proofs, and also with "necessary hypothesis" (whereas, many books on the subject describe the theory, over algebraically closed field, and we miss here arithmatic of the field). The authors give a self-contained exposition of the theory of Knizhnik-Zamolodchikov equations and related topics. No previous knowledge of physics is required. The text is suitable for a one-semester graduate course and is intended for graduate students and research mathematicians interested in mathematical physics.
